FAQs

Do you take insurance?

No, however I will provide a superbill at the time of the visit for you to submit to your insurance company should you request it.

Why don’t you take insurance?

Most insurance companies place limitations on the amount that they will reimburse practitioners and what services they will cover. This limits the type and amount of treatment that PTs can provide. Claims for pain while running is usually denied because running is not considered an Activity of Daily Living (ADL). Chronic pain claims are often denied by insurance companies because of the high number of visits required for management of life-long conditions. Working with insurance companies ultimately limits the treatments that I can provide.

Where are you licensed?

I am licensed in DC, VA, and MD, though each state has its own requirements for PT. If you’re planning on submitting to insurance in VA, then a doctor’s referral is required

How long are appointments and how much do they cost?

All appointments are 55 minutes. Initial evaluations are $225 and all types of follow-up appointments are $200

Can I get a discount?

No discounts are available at this time. I am solo entrepreneur and I simply cannot afford to offer discounts
